Art After the Storm

Start Date: July 07, 2026
Deadline: July 19, 2026

The Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) invites Western North Carolina artists to submit work for Contemplating Helene: Art after the Storm. Marking the 2nd anniversary of Hurricane Helene, this exhibition explores how the storm upended, shaped, or reshaped your artistic practice—whether through lost work, material recovery, or general disruption.

We seek diverse voices and varied backgrounds representing the wealth of talent in our region.
