The Nineteenth annual Art in Autumn Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival takes place Saturday, September 19th, 2026, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Weaverville, North Carolina, located in Buncombe county 7 miles from downtown Asheville. Sponsored by the Weaverville Business Association, the festival features over 100 juried artists and craftspeople and live music. In recent years, Weaverville has established itself as a culturally rich destination point, with its now well-established street festival each September. It has earned a reputation for its quaint atmosphere, artistic spirit, and distinctive shops and restaurants.
GENERAL INFORMATION Awards:
- Best of Show - $1,000
- Second Place - $500
- Third Place - $250
- 4 honorable mentions at $50 each.
Application fee is $35. If invited to this show, booth fee is $175.
An esteemed judge from the Asheville area art and craft community is selected by the Art in Autumn committee each year to judge the booths on the day of the show.
