The truth is, the value of a Readiness Plan is created before you ever start putting it on paper. The value is in the decisions you make, about your career, your practice, your structure, and how best to protect it from damage. This final session in this Field Building workshop series will prompt and guide you in taking what you’ve learned about readiness planning, what you determine are your individual priorities, and how you surround yourself with habits, people and structures that will be there for you if something goes wrong. You’ll put the pieces together into a Plan that’s right-sized and relevant for you, and can kick into action whenever needed. We’ll also address Mutual Aid, a practice of collective self-reliance, and explore how to develop your own mutual aid network which is then poised to provide a collaborative exchange of resources and assistance in an emergency.
