Escape to the Page is a no-pressure, come-as-you-are drop-in creative writing adventure at the stunning Blind Tiger Asheville ~a unique, impeccably furnished inn with working fireplaces & lots of cozy nests for writing. Drop in on the 1st and/or 3rd Monday of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm. Fee is $35. Edibles and potables provided!

You don’t need to be an experienced writer to get the benefits of this practice and of writing in community. All you need is your imagination!

HOW IT WORKS: We start by reading a poem aloud. You choose a line to leap off from. The goal is to get your inner critic out of the way and get words down on the page. We’ll write for 25 minutes and do this twice. After we write, we read our work aloud. (You can pass if you choose.) We don’t critique, we just listen to one another with an open heart.
