This advanced beginner tap class builds upon the foundation of tap dance technique. With warmups and drills focusing on tap dance vocabulary, clarity of sound, rhythmic variety, aesthetic quality, and the beginnings of improvisation, students will apply their skills to rhythm and show tap choreography. We recommend having a basic tap dance vocabulary including shuffles, flaps, paradiddles, etc. Tap shoes are required. Need tap shoes? Anna has a limited number of extra shoes and sizes available.
