Fall / Winter 2026–27 Residencies - Rolling Application Process Now Open

Applications are now open for collaborative printmaking residencies at Obee Editions in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Artists work directly with Tamarind Master Printer Perry Obee to develop original fine art prints through an intensive one-on-one collaboration. Whether you’re an experienced printmaker or have never stepped into a print studio, the residency is designed around your ideas and creative practice.

What You’ll Do

• Translate your work into print through close collaboration
• Experiment with traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques
• Develop a focused body of original prints

Who Should Apply

• Artists working in any medium
• Those interested in expanding their practice through collaboration
• Artists who enjoy experimentation and creative problem solving
• No printmaking experience necessary

Residency Details

• Flexible scheduling
• Three-day minimum, up to two weeks
• Rolling admissions
• Project-based pricing (DM for details)

• Portfolio (5-10images)
• Artist statement (1 page)
• Brief project proposal (1–2 pages) Your proposal does not need to be fully formed. It’s a starting point for a collaborative process.
