Show Ready: American Craft Made Baltimore 2027
Welcome to the application for Show Ready: American Craft Made Baltimore 2027. This program is intended to help WNC craft artists who were impacted by Hurricane Helene strengthen their businesses and reach a wider market via participation in the largest juried craft show on the East Coast. Accepted cohort participants will receive training and mentorship in preparation for the show, and space in a shared community booth with other WNC artists at no cost. Participants will be selected by a committee of Craft Your Commerce staff and instructors, based on quality of work, fit for the show, demonstrated readiness and need for the program, and diversity of media and geographic location. The submission deadline is Sunday, July 12th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Applicant requirements:
- Reside in one of the 26 westernmost counties of North Carolina.
- Be craft artists whose work meets the American Craft Council’s eligibility guidelines for Craft Made Baltimore.
- Must not have previously shown at Craft Made Baltimore or any other juried show of similar scale.
- Be ready to produce work at the volume required by a large show
- Be able to fully participate in the cohort sessions:
All sessions 10am-1pm
9/1/2026, 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/24, 12/8, 1/5/2027, 1/12, 1/19/ 1/26, 2/2, and one session in March, date to be determined by the group. Participants may also receive one-on-one studio visits, which will be coordinated individually.
Have reliable transportation, and be able to transport work and attend the show in-person February 17th-21st, 2027
Application materials to have prepared:
3-5 high-quality images of the type of work you intend to sell at the show. Images should be titled following the format: image1_lastname.jpg
Optional but encouraged
1-3 images of your booth at previous craft shows
