We've begun to work on our March issue. If you have a story idea that you would like for us to consider, please let me know as soon as possible. Following are our deadlines for the March issue, which includes our annual focus on Education. Reach out to gina@thelaurelofasheville.com with questions.

Friday, January 23 — Date by which to let me know that you have an event or story idea that might be timely for March, including events occurring in the earliest days of April. We will consider reserving space at this time.

Wednesday, January 28 — If I have let you know that we will be able to include a story, submit press release and/or basic information about the event by this date, as well as one or two contacts to provide more information to the writer. It is a great help to us if you make sure that the information you provide—including dates, names, and titles of artwork—is accurate.

Monday, February 2 — Photo Deadline — Send large, high-resolution (300 dpi) images to support your story directly to me, Gina Malone gina@thelaurelofasheville.com. Along with the photos, we will need brief and accurate caption information for each one and, if necessary, photographer credits. Please let me know if you need a copy of our Photo Submission Guidelines.
