The Membership and Ad Sales Manager is responsible for driving earned revenue and engagement through ArtsAVL’s membership and advertising programs. This position leads efforts to meet annual revenue goals by planning and executing targeted membership and ad sales initiatives, cultivating new prospects, and maintaining strong relationships with current supporters. The Manager also oversees fulfillment of advertising services and sponsor benefits, including contracting, invoicing, and tracking results. In addition, the role manages ArtsAVL’s Creative Portal platform—supporting portal members, curating content, and promoting the portal as a key resource for Buncombe County’s arts community. The position also provides general communications support, including general inquiries, and assisting with newsletters, social media, and other initiatives as needed.

The position requires strong customer service skills, as well as marketing and sales experience. Candidates must have experience with Google Workspace, QuickBooks, WordPress, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Canva, and CRM programs such as Little Green Light.
