Help us bring the joy of dance to life! BMCA Dance is seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our Spring Dance Recital on May 18th. Whether you're experienced in technical theater, love working with kids, or enjoy capturing creative moments, there's a place for you on our team.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

🛠️ Technical Theater Assistants: Support our tech crew with lighting and sound during dress rehearsals and the live performance. No experience required—just a willingness to learn and take direction. Ideal for those interested in theater production or backstage operations.

👧 Child Care Assistants (Backstage Chaperones): Help keep our young dancers safe, happy, and organized. Volunteers will supervise children backstage, escort them to and from the stage, and maintain a positive and supportive environment. Great for those who enjoy working with youth!

🎭 Assistant Stage Manager: Work closely with our Stage Manager to ensure a smooth show! Responsibilities include cueing performers, coordinating backstage traffic, and helping keep everything on schedule. Perfect for detail-oriented multitaskers who thrive under pressure.

📸 Photographer: Capture behind-the-scenes fun and performance highlights! We’re seeking a creative photographer to document the event for use in promotional materials and family memories. Bring your own gear and artistic eye.

🎥 Videographer: Help us preserve the performance! We're looking for someone to record the recital and candid backstage moments. Experience with video equipment is a plus, but passion and a good eye for storytelling through movement are just as important.
