"Tiny Movements" Film Screening & Panel Discussion
The award-winning documentary, "Tiny Movements" tells the story of local dance artist Jenn Green's journey to overcome domestic violence through the healing power of dance. A weekend long series of events raise awareness about abuse against women and provides support for survivors. On June 26, join us in a downtown AVL art gallery for the film screening followed by a panel discussion with attorneys, therapists and other Domestic Violence professionals to elevate awareness about domestic violence and provide attendees with access to professional services. The event concludes with a meet-the-artists reception where light refreshments such as wine, sparkling water and snacks will be provided.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit My Sister’s Place, a domestic violence and sexual assault service agency in Marshall, NC.
