Learn the fundamentals of lino block printmaking in this hands-on introductory class. You’ll leave with a small edition of prints and the basic knowledge and confidence to continue your printmaking journey at home!

What You’ll Learn:

• An overview of the various types of linoleum available to work with

• The transfer of your design or image to the linoleum plate

• Safe carving techniques using an assortment of gouges

• How to keep your tools in top condition

• Good printmaking practices and how to print with-environmentally friendlier inks

Printing by hand using simple homemade jigs to keep your prints clean, crisp and organized as you print. The jigs will enable you to add some color surprises too!
