10:00AM - 04:00PM

Drypoint & Watercolor 3-Day Workshop with Guest Artist, Pam Beagle-Daresta *$45-65 Materials Fee with lunch provided.*

We’re excited to welcome Pam Beagle-Daresta to Print House for a three-day workshop exploring the expressive possibilities of combining drypoint printmaking and watercolor painting. Working with nontoxic, contemporary materials, participants will discover how the spontaneity and translucency of watercolor can beautifully enhance the intricate marks and textures of drypoint prints.

This workshop offers a playful, process-based approach that encourages experimentation and the blending of mediums. You’ll begin with a brief introductory exercise before creating a printing plate from your own imagery. Steps include engraving a contemporary plastic plate, editing and inking your plate with Akua inks, and pulling prints on watercolor and printmaking papers, including some of Pam’s handmade paper. Participants will then integrate watercolor, using Daniel Smith paints to build layered, luminous works.

DETAILS Level: All levels, prior printmaking experience helpful, but not required. Dates: July 23–25, 2026 Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily Class size: Limited to 12 participants Materials Fee: $45-65 (TBA) Lunch provided
