I create evocative assemblage sculptures and mixed-media works using vintage mannequin heads and forms, transforming these once-utilitarian objects into vessels of emotion, narrative, and symbolism. Drawn to the intriguing boundary between the human and the inanimate, I reimagine damaged or timeworn mannequins as powerful figures that explore identity, memory, and the complexities of the human experience. I also incorporate these sculptural elements into my photography, using the mannequins as characters within atmospheric, carefully crafted images that extend the stories begun in my three-dimensional work. Through sculpture, mixed media, and conceptual photography, I craft a haunting yet compelling visual language that feels wholly my own.
