Musicians On Call (MOC) brings music to the bedsides of patients, families
and caregivers in healthcare environments. For more than 25 years, MOC
has shared the healing power of music with over 1.25 million people across
all 50 states through bedside, virtual, songwriting and streaming programs,
making the organization the leading provider of live music in hospitals.
MOC is partnering with the Asheville VA Medical Center and HCA Mission
Hospital to provide Bedside Music programs! Through the program, local
volunteers visit patients room-to-room, sharing live music and meaningful
moments of connection. A single song can ease fear, isolation and pain,
offering comfort, easing stress, and reminding patients and caregivers they
are not alone.

Musicians On Call is seeking local musicians and music lovers to join its
volunteer network.

Volunteer Musicians are local, professional-caliber
performers who share uplifting songs at the bedside, while Volunteer Guides
support bedside visits by leading musicians through healthcare facilities and
helping coordinate with patients, families, and staff.
