North Carolina Glass Center’s BIPOC Artist-in-Residence program provides hot shop artists with the opportunity to dive deeply into their artistic research, practice, and creative endeavors while working closely with our local artist community and outreach programs. The goal of this 6-week program is to foster diversity and inclusion in the field of glass art, a powerful medium for cultural expression.

Applications will be accepted from BIPOC artists currently living outside of the Western North Carolina area through November 20, 2023. The review team will notify the accepted resident by December 1, 2023 and confirm dates of the residency as it fits with their schedule.
