Rotary Club of Asheville Disaster Grant Application
Rotary clubs from around the nation and Canada have donated funds to our club to help our community recover from the devastation of Tropical Storm Helene. A committee was formed and a decision made to distribute these funds through a grant process.
Recipient organizations must be classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity, school or government agency.
Grants will be awarded according to need up to $5,000. The Rotary Club of Asheville Disaster Relief Committee will review the applications on a bi-weekly basis and select recipients, continuing the process until the funds are utilized. The recipients will be selected and presented to the Rotary Club of Asheville Board of Directors for approval.
Our goal is to provide disaster recovery and support rebuilding efforts for citizens and businesses of Western North Carolina impacted by Tropical Storm Helene.
Submit your application, project budget, and your organization’s most recent IRS Form 990 or most recent fiscal year-end financial statements and any supplementary attachments here or email to Janet Whitworth at jwhitworth711@gmail.com. Any grant award will be paid by check to the organization as named below and mailed to the address provided.
