Art as Story Telling: Tokens of Hope

November 22, 2025
11:00AM - 03:00PM

At the heart of this class lies a simple truth: creativity is a form of renewal in returning to ourselves, of celebrating the beauty that surrounds us, and of offering comfort to those who seek it. Through mixed media, flowers, leaves, and found objects, portrait and story, we find a path toward healing and peace. Come, join me in this adventure. Let us create together, stitching hope and beauty into every piece. May this class be a wellspring of inspiration, a gentle reminder of our own resilience, and a celebration of the quiet power of renewal. I look forward to seeing what you will create, and to sharing in the comfort and peace that art can bring.

Materials provided: 9 X12 Canvas, E6000 glue, finger gloves, Artificial Flowers, Printed Face Drawings to choose from or you can email me with just a head shot of yourself and I will make a black and white face.

Bring: You can bring anything that you may want in your self portrait. Examples: pieces of material you love and no longer use of course, jewelry, something woodsy. It's all about nature. If you have a black and white head shot of yourself we can use your beautiful face instead of those I have created.
