Experience a contemporary interpretation of Oshibana, the Japanese tradition of creating art with pressed plant material. Learn all the techniques and tricks with flowers: pressing, unpressing, storing, creating art and sealing will be included in hands on activities with take-home technique materials including a pressing packet and storage sleeve, and resource information.
Create a 2D collage 5”x7”, sealed with lamination, matted and sleeved.
Experiment with gel medium sealing on 3D wood and cardboard surfaces.
All materials included. Beginners encouraged. Workshop 1-4 p.m. followed by an optional hour of creative time.
