Since 2022 Land of the Sky Burlesque Festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains, celebrates diversity and excellence in burlesque and vaudeville entertainment. We pride ourselves on curating inclusive shows that offer a vibrant blend of performance art. Our sold-out events have been hailed as the “Burlesque Hall of Fame of the South”!

This year’s headliners:

Lovey Goldmine (Living Burlesque Legend) Lovey began her career at the age of 17 as a singer with The Scatman Corothers Trio. By age 21 she was hired by Chuck Landes, of the famous Hollywood Largo as Featured exotic dancer and mistress of ceremonies. She performed in Paris, France in “The Crazy Horse Saloon” for Alain Bernardin and later joined a ballet from Paris to do a world tour. She later moved to Las Vegas where she performed at the Cabaret Burlesque Palace. Lovey was inducted into The Burlesque Hall of Fame in 2014 and currently travels to appear in Burlesque Festivals Nationwide.

Jeez Loueez Jeez Loueez is a multi-talented, award-winning entertainer based in New Orleans with roots in St. Louis and Chicago. A known ham and stage menace, Jeez Loueez has become one of the most memorable personalities in modern burlesque. Whether splitting sides with her irreverent and relatable comedy, or dropping jaws with her musicality and kinetic fury, there's a reason she's known as The Honey Badger of Burlesque!

Lola van Ella Lola van Ella is an award winning burlesque singer, dancer, producer, instructor and emcee. She is the CEO of Van Ella Productions, through which she and her team produce many lauded events, including the international Show-Me Burlesque Festival, The Shimmy Showdown, Spectaculaire, and nearly 500 performances of her immersive burlesque musical, The Van Ella Bordella. Lola is also one half of Loleezbo, a comedy duo lead web series and online show co-created with Jeez Loueez. In 2020, Lola was named “most influential burlesque performer,” by 21st Century Burlesque, along with Jeez. She has taught, produced and performed in events all over the world, and takes great pride in being “The most naked Ted Talk presenter.”
