Black Mountain Recreation & Parks’ beloved summer concert series returns to scenic Lake Tomahawk for four free Thursday evening shows. Park Rhythms is returning to Lake Tomahawk!
Join us this summer out at the Lake for four FREE concerts! The 2026 series will kick off with Luke Norton & Alli Blois from Durham, NC. Luke Norton is a musician who spent many years touring and recording with artists like Angel Olsen, H.C. McEntire, and Little Wings. Alli Blois is an experimental folk musician and producer that runs the label Halloween on Raspberry Hill Records. The second show in the series will feature the rising indie rockers, Hiding Places, who got their start in Asheville and Athens, GA. Third on the lineup will be our local showcase with singer-songwriter Sophia Corinne and the duo Slow Packer. To wrap up the series, we’re looking forward to welcoming the indie pop and folk group, Dog Eyes, who will be joining us all the way from Oakland, California.
In addition to live music, each show will also feature a food truck. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to set up on the lawn in front of the stage. Due to limited parking, attendees are also encouraged to carpool, bike, or walk from surrounding neighborhoods. Sponsors of the 2026 Park Rhythms Concert Series include Acoustic Corner, Harvest Records, Mark Kleive, DDS, Pisgah AVL, The Red Radish Catering Company, and 88.7 WNCW.
